At The Blue Knights, we're all about family and motorcycles. And, as far as we're concerned, nothing beats the rush you get from the wind in your face and the open road at your beckon call. One ride and you'll be hooked. Whether you're interested in motorcycles, or just enjoy the camaraderie of friends, we're where you want to be.

Certified Service Dogs for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

In 2011, NSD launched the Service Dogs for PTSD Program to assist veterans with long term post traumatic stress disorder which made us the first accredited service dog organization in Canada to have a program of this kind.  Certified Service Dogs for PTSD ground their partners in reality and help them to reconnect with their families and reengage in activities of daily living, such as going to a movie with their kids, that most of us take for granted.  With their dogs by their side, veterans are empowered to live their lives to the fullest.

Dan and NSD Onix

Onix is very attentive to Dan and is always ready to give him a supportive “nudge” to help him stay focused on the positive and to keep him grounded.  Dan has started to re-engage in activities of daily living and has start going to hockey games with his son.
